In this episode of Remarks with Republicans, I had the privilege of sitting down with Rhonda Belford, Illinois’ Republican National Committeewoman. Rhonda brings a unique perspective to the table, representing our state at the national level while staying deeply connected to the concerns of Illinois voters.

Our conversation covered a range of topics—from the importance of grassroots involvement to how Illinois can work in step with the national party while addressing our state’s unique challenges. Rhonda shared her thoughts on election integrity, redistricting, and the need for unity within the party. She also gave us a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the energy and optimism she witnessed at the Republican National Convention.

One thing that stood out was Rhonda’s passion for communication—listening to constituents, strengthening local leadership, and making sure Illinois has a strong voice on the national stage. Her message was clear: building relationships and working together is the key to making real progress.

Whether you’re deeply involved in politics or simply curious about how national party leadership connects to local issues, this episode offers valuable insight from someone who’s right in the middle of it all.
